I attended the January 4, 2012 Open Gov meeting and found it to be very informative. I anticipate that the Hacks/Hackers meetings will also provide useful information. I co-authored a report analyzing data from Chicago capital improvement projects.
As a consultant to the Northwestern University Center for Urban Affairs and Policy Research in 1986, I co-authored a report analyzing data from Chicago's 1985-1989 Capital Improvement Program Budget. This is a 2 volume, 3 part, 1,500 page publication in the Chicago Public Library. Also, I authored a Neighborhood Design thesis for the Master of Science Degree in the City and Regional Planning Department for the School of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology My thesis that was published in 1977 is titled: "The Superblock and Settlement Unit with Applications to Kenosha, Wisconsin." This 356 page thesis, including numerous plans, drawings and figures, is in the Galvin Library at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
Not at the present time. I have completed 25 years as an estimator, bid proposal manager, contract administrator and project manager in a construction management capacity for General Contractors primarily engaged in renovating schools, housing projects, public buildings and park redevelopment.

Hey Jeffrey, I was looking to book the tee time sooner than tomorrow. EZ links has a discounted rate of $14, but unfortunately it's only at 1:30. (there's also a 9:30 time which I can't do). The bottom line is, we would need to commit no later than tonight. Let me know
Hey Jeffrey! Welcome and thanks for joining! Sorry I didn't get to you but I did just receive your voicemail. We do use multiple web resources such as this Meetup, but our actual site is http:\\www.opte
nnis.com. We're about to post that event here on the Meetup page too, but another member of this Meetup, Florian, just joined our group itself. So please make yourself at home and again, WELCOME!!!
Jeff, welcome to the group.
